The northern hemisphere spring 2024 debut of DEOS aims to elevate authenticity and tranquillity on the popular Greek island of Mykonos
Poised on a hilltop above the town of Mykonos, the Myconian Collection’s DEOS is set to offer guests panoramic sea views overlooking the old harbour windmills as well as the neighbouring islands of Delos, Syros and Tinos. DEOS was designed by GM Architects with the vision of expressing the identity and culture of Mykonos.
DEOS draws from the island’s roots and the expertise of the Daktylides family, whose hospitality portfolio includes properties such as Relais & Châteaux, LHW, SLH, Preferred and Design Hotels. The architecture of DEOS was built with the concept of flow in mind and features a contemporary spin on Cycladic styles. Accents include rustic walls made from rocks quarried onsite, indigenous flora and framed scenic views.
Rooms at DEOS are designed to feel like private residences while offering home comforts and discrete housekeeping. The minimalist rooms aim for focus to be drawn towards artisanal touches such as natural textures and custom materials. Rooms include marble bathrooms and living areas that open onto terraces that house a pergola with either a pool or a jacuzzi.
Fitness and relaxation are integrated into the DEOS experience through a gym equipped for fitness, pilates and yoga as well as a spa featuring an indoor pool, sauna and steam bath. Signature treatments will incorporate infusions and essential oils from local botanicals.
Greek dishes will be features of DEO’s culinary experience with a seasonally rotating menu featuring homegrown ingredients. Multiple dining options will be available including breakfast, light poolside lunches, fine dining at the indoor Epico and al fresco dining with views across Mykonos town.
